Established in 1983, Rose City Tile was developed to satisfy the Rosatis' desire to provide flooring for their contracting business customers. They decided to import tile from Europe, allowing  them a dual advantage: to select their own tiles, and to pass on a significant savings to their clients. It soon became evident that the caliber of imported tiles was quite appealing to the general public and the business began to thrive on both the commercial and the public level.

Gino Morrone and Tony Oliverio were two dedicated employees who were directly involved in the success strategy of the business. Gino Morrone was appointed General Manager and Tony joined as a salesperson. As the business grew and the team's involvement escalated, the opportunity arose to buy out the assets of the store and take it over. The pair seized the opportunity to operate the prospering business.

Since their purchase in March 1999, these two successful businessmen have been steadily meeting the demands of the construction boom in Essex County and Northern Michigan, with a hands-on and personal approach to the business.
